I Am Providence

For those of you that are interested. I Am Providence: The Life and Times of H.P. Lovecraft is a VERY limited publication by Hippocampus Press that will be released this summer. As luck would have it our friends at Backlist Books are going to be ordering this limited edition book set directly from the publisher.  As of now I don’t know the exact quantity of this print run but I believe it is only going to be a few thousand. I Am Providence, is a two-volume set of hardbacks with dust covers and the set retails for $100.00…

Now before anyone has a heart attack about the price there are a few things to keep in mind about this collection. First this is a limited print run. Once it is printed and those copies are sold they won’t be printing more. Next, your getting two very nice books not just one, so in reality they are only $50.00 each. Lastly this is a somewhat historic event, never before has a complete and uncut version of the life of H.P. Lovecraft been published in book form.

For fans of HPL this collection is  something that should not be missed. A hansom set of limited edition books that tell the complete history of one of Americas greatest writers. For more info on the collection or to order your own set be sure to contact Backlist Books VERY soon. This will not be around for long.

  1. Thanks for mentioning this wonderful set. Derrick published 1,000 copies of the book, so it will probably be around for a wee while. However, when it does go out of print copies will sell for ridiculous prices, as editions of the Hippocampus volumes of Lovecraft’s letters to Derleth and Howard are now going for $1,000 on Amazon! I am nearly finish’d reading Volume One, and it is fabulous. This will be the definitive Life of H. P. Lovecraft for decades.
